First Week of  6th Grade

My first week of being a sixth grader at Rosecrest was weird because I'm used to having someone above me but now I'm the oldest. My amazing teacher's are Mr. Frank and Ms Emery. Mr. Frank teaches Language Arts and Social Studies. Mrs. Emery teaches Math and Science. Mr. Frank's class seems like fun because instead of boring old social studies book we have simulations. 

Mr. Frank is very outgoing and explanatory, he teaches Social Studies and Language Arts. I'm very excited for Language Arts because reading is my favorite subject so I can't wait to see what he does with us. He is very energetic, he like to be moving around, and he is a fun person to be around.

 Mrs. Emery teaches Math and Science. I get kinda nervous when I don't know my math teacher because math can be hard and it is helpful when your math teacher slows things down and take time for you to learn and understand what they are teaching Mrs. Emery seems very fun to be around and can't wait to learn more about her.

My favorite subjects are Math and Reading. They both make me happy. My favorite thing about reading is that you have some alone time to yourself to have a good time and enjoy your book. When I read it takes me to a whole new world and I feel like I'm watching a movie. My favorite thing about Math is that it is easy for me and it's fun. Math makes feel like I'm one step closer to college and one step closer to becoming who I want to become.

Sixth grade is going to be great and I'm excited to get a taste of being the oldest and having everyone look up to me as a leader and I'm excited to have my teachers and my friends with me.
